How it all started
In 2014, Nick and Bart, two Dutch guys already active in the cybersecurity, noticed the growing problem of content piracy among cam models. They decided to start an agency dedicated to remove stolen content from all kinds of places. Cam models from Chaturbate and Myfreecams soon started to use our services. Not long after that, Patreon and OnlyFans followed.
When content creators discover that their content is being stolen and published without consent, they want to take it down asap. Cam Model Protection is a legal service provider, we’ve developed special tools and services to locate and remove stolen content. The thing you want ultimately as a content creator, is your stolen content to be taken down. That’s exactly what we started doing.
The beginning of 2019, a worldwide epidemic happened called COVID-19. People ended up staying at home, maybe not even able to work. They started searching for a way to make money from home. OnlyFans already existed a couple of years, but since COVID-19, the popularity of OnlyFans skyrocketed. With popularity comes piracy. CMP saw its clients double with OnlyFans models trying to find a way to make money online and feeling safe at the same time. Cam Model Protection started to become more an agency for all content creators in the adult industry instead of just for cam models. We felt really good helping so many OnlyFans models in protecting them and their content.
Not only grew the number of clients, but our dedicated team of agents also grew. In only one year, CMP also doubled in agents. With our superstar and superstar VIP plan, models get a personal agent 2 or 5 hours a week that do manual searches to make sure we find every piece of stolen content on the internet. We always make sure that our capacity of agents is big enough to service and protect all content creators.
Where are we now?
The growth continues. Nowadays we work with 40 agents across 6 countries to protects the content of our content creators. The goal we started with 7 years ago, is more important than ever since piracy is a growing problem. Protection of privacy and identity of the content creator is our top priority. As mentioned earlier, more then half of our clients contain of OnlyFans models instead of just cam models. Therefore, we decided to slightly change our name and logo. Check it out!
This year, we expect to help our 7000th content creator. Keep an eye on our socials since we plan on celebrating this festive fact with a giveaway!
